I was surprised to hear that my daycare hooligans had never heard it before, so we came up with this easy and adorable lion/lamb weather predictor.

What a fun way to guess what March's weather will be like, and to introduce young children to that classic bit of folklore!

The older kids made them when they were here on Friday, but they're perfect for toddlers and preschoolers because they're super-easy.

Plus, you know how little kids love stuffing things into things? Well, let's just say they're going to love this!

This would be a great craft for home or preschool, but I'm thinking it would be a hit as a group activity at playgroup or a Christmas party too.
