I had a set of these when I was a kid, and I've always wanted to make them with the hooligans.

We finally got around to doing it the other day, and Oh. My. Gosh! They're just precious!

We had so much fun with this one, and when I say "we", I mean me too because I'm a sucker for this kind of thing, and couldn't resist making one for myself.

This kept the kids busy for the better part of the morning the other day. They LOVED it! It's fun for all ages, but a really great craft if you have older kids who can be a bit harder to please at the craft table.

My gang ranged in age from 6-12 on this day, and they all LOVED it!

These yarn dolls are SO cute, and great for developing fine motor skills and wrapping and winding skills.

I made a bunch with the 3's one morning, and then after school, I showed them to Miss 8. She LOVED them, and made one after another after another. And what did she ask to do the next time she was here? She wanted to make more craft stick dolls!
