I used to do it this way until recently I found another method. Took only second. Cut it into half and gently to to pry open but don’t go all the way, you are just trying to loosen the seeds. Turn the fruit in your palm and whack it with a wooden spoon. All seeds fall into your palm and the bowl underneath it. Seriously easy.

I was introduced to Pomegranates last year when a mom brought some to a playdate. My daughter loved them!! I was amazed how easy it was so I did run right to the store and get some. I happened to see some at the store today and the selection was pretty slim, but I did pick one up for my daughter and me.

I have our pomengranates seeded the easiest way – my in laws do it for us! I believe they do it the same way you demonstrated here. We have a pomengranate tree and this year we got about 40 fruits from it. Delicious. In a matter of a month, we ate them all. =) Here in TX, they were ripe in late September, early October.
