I am SO EXCITED to share this one with you!!

We've made really gorgeous trivets and coasters, using just pipe cleaners and yarn!!

They're super-easy to make because there's no stitching involved at all.

You have to see them! They look like they're store-bought.

And they're literally just pipe cleaners wrapped in yarn. How cool is that?

What a terrific homemade gift for kids to make for parents and grandparents.

I've been dying to make these for ages, and the kids and I finally made a bunch.

You can hang them on the Christmas tree or use them as table toppers!

I'm making one to put at each plate at our Family Christmas dinner, so everyone can take one home with them.

Toilet Roll Nativity Set that Kids Can Play With

Make a toilet roll nativity set for your kids to play with!

Years ago, when my daycare kids always wanted to touch and play with my good nativity set, I made this kid-friendly nativity set out of toilet rolls, fabric scraps and a glue gun.

What a hit!

They loved it so much, I ended up making an 8-piece set for each of them, and guess what. They still have them. They still play with them, and they're still in great shape.

It was a joy to make these sets, and the children cherish them. Not to mention, they provide hours of entertainment and imaginative play during the Christmas season!

A Beginner Glue Gun Project for Kids: Mosaic Meat Tray Structures

Now, you might be thinking "WHAT? A toddler and a glue gun??"

You bet! Have a look at this glue gun project for kids that I shared a wile back. In it, I share my advice on teaching kids how to use low temp glue guns.

You'll see that our older toddlers and preschoolers use them well. With a little guidance and supervision (and a bowl of cold water near-by, just in case), you can teach your child how to use a low heat glue gun too!

Dragonfly Craft from Starbucks Stir Sticks

It might not be dragonfly season, but you won't be able to resist making these adorable stir stick dragonflies with your kids sometime soon.

Just grab a handful of stir sticks when you're in Starbucks (ask first!), and your kids can transform them into glittery, shimmery dragonflies.

They're fun for play but I think they'd look wonderful suspended in a window, or strung into a mobile similar to the pinecone mobile we made last month.

Easy Flowered Tiara Craft for Kids

Oh my gosh, guys, if you have little ones who love pretending they're fairies or princesses, or just love dress-up play in general, you HAVE to check out the tiara we made yesterday!

Eek! I'm so excited about it. I mean, look at how completely enchanting this little hooligan looks wearing it.

She wore it all day long. I'm not kidding. She adored it.

And guess what...

It was SUPER-easy, and took less than 10 minutes from start to finish!

All you need is some elastic, some fake flowers, and a glue gun! Check it out! Don't you just love it?

Oh my goodness, I am SO excited about our latest art project! It's gorgeous! And it's SO easy to do! All you need is a glue gun and glitter to write these sparkly, 3-D embossed messages! We've used the process to make Valentines cards, but you can make any greeting card this way, or even a cool, custom piece of art to hang in on a wall in your home or classroom! I LOVE it!
