Oh my goodness. If you're gathering Valentines craft ideas for the kids, you have to check out the paper towel roses we made.

They look just like real roses. They're gorgeous!

Kids can make them to give them individually for Valentines Day, or they can give a whole bouquet.

This is, hands-down, one of my favourite flower crafts ever!

The hooligans turned paper towels into miniature "tie dyed" tee-shirts, to deliver a "TEE-rific" message to their Dads on Father's Day.

City Skyline Silhouette Art Project for Kids

Squeee! I'm so excited to share our latest art project with you!

If you're looking for a cool art project to do with your kids at home, or with your students in art class you'll love this one.

When you see it, it may even take you back to your own childhood. may take you back to your own childhood, but we've put a modern day spin on it.

Using just three supplies: coloured water, paper towel and black paper, the hooligans, ages 4 through 10 made this city skyline silhouette art recently, and the results were beautiful!

It's particularly fun because of the drip-art technique we used to make the backdrops.

And not only are the results beautiful, there's lots of fine-motor development going on with this art activity too!

Woot woot! Look what we made!

Beautiful patriotic wind twirlers for Canada Day and the 4th of July!

They were super simple to make, using paper towel rolls and paint, and they look terrific spinning and twirling in the wind!

It doesn't matter where you live, or what country you're in, just paint these up in your country's national colours, and you'll have some lively and charming ornaments to hang from your porch or a tree in your yard to celebrate your national holiday!
