All you need is food colouring, water, vinegar and olive oil! The process is really easy, and guys, the results ARE GORGEOUS! Look, look!!

Decorating Easter Eggs with Liquid Watercolours

I'm really excited to show you this easy process for decorating your Easter eggs!

It couldn't be easier!

We coloured our eggs (super-easy!), and then dribbled liquid watercolours all over them, and WOW, you should see the results! They're gorgeous!

The process is totally easy and fun. Everyone will love it - from the toddlers right through to the teens! Heck, even I had a blast colouring our eggs this way! We've polished them up, and set them in a bowl along with our easy marblelized eggs from the other day.

Last year, I made these colourful Easter egg treats using a traditional Rice Krispy Treat recipe and Fruity Pebbles.

They were super-easy to make and they turned out so cheery and bright!

They're shaped like real eggs, and super-easy to make. And because the cereal is so colourful, there's no need for food colouring or sprinkles or icing.

They're perfect for a classroom party or for your own kids or daycare kids!

Painting Like Eric Carle – Homemade Easter Egg Napkin Rings Craft for Kids

Ok, I have a really cool painting process to share with you!

Have you ever wondered how Eric Carle creates the artwork for the pictures in his books?

It's gorgeous, right? Wouldn't you love to create art like that?

Well, guess what!

He's made a short slide-show, demonstrating exactly how he paints, and it's actually a really simple process!

I gave it a try, and oh man! It's super-fun and totally addictive. I ended up making all kinds of coloured papers because once I got started, I couldn't stop!

Then I used some of the coloured papers to make Easter Egg napkin rings.

They're really pretty. And oh-so-Eric-Carle.

I think your kids are going to LOVE painting this way.

Let's dye some Easter Eggs! There's no need to go to the store to buy a kit. Eggs are so easy to dye at home using food colouring or liquid watercolours!

I'm going to show you how to blow out an egg, and how to dye a bunch of eggs quickly and easily at home. It's fast, it's fun, and the results are so pretty!

And best of all, we're using supplies that you already have at home.

Scatter them along your Easter dinner table, or display them in a bowl. Either way, you and your kids can take pride, knowing you coloured your eggs the good, old-fashioned way!
