You gotta love these.

Not only are they great for toddlers and preschoolers, you can use them as a teaching tool for older kids too. And hello... they're so easy to make.

My gang has shown a keen interest in sewing lately, so I used these homemade lacing cards to teach them 4 basic sewing stitches.

They loved them!

Shaving Cream Writing Tray for Preschoolers

They LOVE exploring snow without being all bundled up in coats and mitts.

It's such a terrific sensory activity, and so easy to set up!

You only need a few supplies to set this up, and the kids can go back to it day after day. My guys LOVE it!

It's great for developing fine motor skills and creativity, and the kids just love playing with these plastic gem stones.

This is one of those activities that I make available to the kids all winter long in my daycare.
