It’s a great way to set goals and track your progress towards them. The system is quite simple but it does require some discipline on your part to follow through with it, which can be difficult at first if you’re not used to setting goals or tracking them in any organized fashion. But once you start doing so, it becomes a lot easier and more enjoyable as long as you don’t put off setting new ones until next year (as I tend to do).

This will bring both creativity and taking responsibility into one activity. By helping children set realistic goals and then work out an action plan to achieve them is a vital life lesson. Giving appropriate rewards when goals are met or even when key milestones to a goal are met can keep the children motivated to achieve the goals. I would suggest a good mix of such creative indoor craft and outdoor play for optimal stimulation for children.
