Hey Lovely!

If you're in need of a new go-to muffin recipe, this is one of my very favourites.

I've been making these blueberry oat muffins for years because they're so quick and easy and SO GOOD.

You can make them with fresh or frozen blueberries, and the quick oats add such a great texture.

They're moist and delicious and the sugar-cinnamon topping is divine.

Make some with the kids today! I can pretty much guarantee they'll become a new family favourite at your house too! x

I wanted to share this absolutely AMAZING chocolate cake recipe with you!

It's perfect for times like this when you're baking and cooking with ingredients you have on hand rather than going to the grocery store.

This cake is so moist, rich and delicious, and it doesn't require eggs, milk or butter.

The homemade frosting does use 3 tbsp of butter, but the cake is so good you don't even need to frost it.

Ok, this has got to be one of the coolest experiments we do here. It's one of those classic experiments that they'll remember for the rest of their lives. I have parents and grandparents today who tell me they remember doing this as a kid. That's saying something about how memorable and fabulous it is.

The kids love the process, and I've also done this with adult friends and guests, and it blows everyone's mind mind every time.

Hey Lovelies! I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas! We're still in holiday mode here, but I'm popping in to share one of my FAVOURITE holiday recipes of all time. I wanted to get it to you in time for your New Year's celebrations! It's an amazing (and ridiculously easy) hot cheese dip. I've been making this dip for 20 years, and the holidays just wouldn't be complete without a batch or two. It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare! You just toss all of the ingredients into a roasting pan, and let it simmer for an hour. Serve it warm with tortilla chips or with crackers and vegetables. So quick, so easy, and SO delicious! I hope you'll add it to your New Years menu, and I hope you love it as much as we do! Enjoy!

Whenever I feel like I'm slacking in the mom department, I bake homemade cookies. I'm not sure what it is about a homemade cookie, but when my kids come home to find that I've made a batch, suddenly I'm "mom-of-the-year".

These particular peanut butter maple cookies are a favourite here. An old school friend of mine gave me the recipe years ago, and I've been making them ever since. My family LOVES these cookies. The pale, golden colour... the soft, chewy oatmeal... rich peanut-butter and a hint of maple.... Mmm-mmm!

If you're looking for a crazy-good carrot cake recipe with cream cheese frosting, look no further!

This is your cake! I mean it! It might even be just as good as my crazy banana cake, and believe me, THAT cake is out of this world. I say "might" because it all comes down to personal taste, so I'll let you be the official judge!

My banana cake is crazy because of the way you bake and cool it, but this carrot cake is just plain crazy-GOOD. No wacky baking techniques - it's just a traditional carrot cake that everyone goes nuts for.

I've made dozens of carrot cakes over the years, but after snagging this recipe from a friend about 10 years ago, I've abandoned all other recipes, and you might too. There's no turning back after you've tasted this one!
