Crystallized Beach Rocks with Borax and Watercolours

Okaaay... This is FABULOUS, guys! And I am SO excited to share it with you.

You know how you can make crystals with borax and hot water? People usually do it with pipe cleaners to make snowflakes and icicles, right?

Well, we used beach rocks. Oh My Goodness. And then, guess what we did! We coloured them, and turned them into these dazzling and vibrant crystallized stones that you can display on a table or use as a paperweight or give as a gift.

You have to see them! They are GORGEOUS! And the process was SUPER-easy, and so fun!

Oh, lovelies! I have the most beautiful science activity to share with you today! This one calls for just 3 common kitchen ingredients, and little ones find it just fascinating! There's lots of bubbling and fizzing and colourful eruptions for your little ones to oooh and ahhh over, and it will keep them entertained for a good long time too! There's fine motor development, and an opportunity to talk about colour mixing and chemical reactions, and best of all it's super-quick and easy to set up! I am in love with the photos of this activity. Have a look! Aren't they gorgeous?
