Brilliant we have just made some very last minute valentine cards and pictures. My 3 kids(7,5 and 2 year old) loved it. Especially seeing how their pictures all puffed up. Thank you

In reply to Denise. Well, I haven't tried that, Denise. I suppose it would just dry over time, but if it takes a long time, it could get runny, and kind run all over the paper. I really have no idea.

puffy paint hearts are so much fun! These turned out great!!

We did Valentine hearts with puffy paint. Holding a large heart cookie cutter down on to card the children then puddled the paint inside. then sprinkled it with the rainbow rice. We removed the cutter then microwaved the hearts for approx 20 seconds. Fab results! Thanx 🙂

Question from a non-artistic person: What would happen if I did not microwave the heart after painting? I would like to do this activity with a large group (33), and would probably not have time to do all that microwaving.
