In reply to Gina C. maybe a rice bag all decorated. small cloth bag filled with rice, and sew up all sides except one big enought to put in a small funnel. fill 3/4 with dry rice and secure the opening. you could decorate the outside with soft small toys or colored felt patches. would be soft for them to ssueeze or not hurt anyone if thrown.

Any suggestions.for a softer ‘stone’. I have kids who throw things when.stressed and well, my house can’t handle.a lot more.abuse but I can see the beauty in a.pocket sized.comfort.item.like.this…. just.coming up short.on what to make.it out of!

Thanks and 8 I love your ideas. My daughter is a St. Patrick’s day baby & will be getting a theme box, as will her brother to keep him occupied and NOT opening her gifts! Which is gift in.itself.
