Happy Monday, Lovely!

I know it can be challenging to think of theme-based activities in November what with Halloween being behind us and Christmas still being so far ahead.

I wanted to share this idea with you. It's something I do every year here in November, and I leave it set up for weeks.

The kids LOVE it! There's loads of opportunity for learning and exploring, and you can pull it all together in a few minutes, with a few dollar store items or things you already have around the house.

Hands-down, this is our favourite lunch ever here in my daycare.

Every kid loves it, from the toddlers right through to the 10 year olds.

It's super-easy to make, and even the pickiest kids (and believe me, I've had some picky ones!) ask for this over and over again.

Everyone has seconds, and sometimes thirds. It's that good.

You know why? It's simple, delicious comfort food.

You can tweak it any way you want to, but this version right here - it's guaranteed to make everyone happy.

Hey lovelies! The weather isn't getting any warmer out there, and we'll likely get frost soon, so if you have basil in your garden, get out there and harvest it!

Honestly! All it takes is just one cold night, and it will wilt and die. That would be tragic. You so don't want that to happen!

What you want to do is make this AMAZING homemade pesto with your crop!

It's so easy! You can make it in minutes with just 5 ingredients: basil, parmesan, oil, garlic and nuts.

Seriously! It is THAT EASY! nuts - blend it together, and you're done.

It's OUT OF THIS WORLD on pasta but you can also serve it with fish, chicken, pork... You can stir into stir it into soup, spread it on a burger, slather it on bread, add it to eggs, dips, pizza...

Best of all, you can make a ton and freeze it, so you can enjoy it all winter long!

Trust me. You'll never want store-bought again!
