Participating in Operation Gratitude, which collects candy to ship overseas to troops, is a terrific way to get rid of excess candies. In addition, slice up the remaining candy into bite-size pieces for later use. I am also freezing them for cakes, milkshakes, and cookies, topping ice cream, and stirring them into hot chocolate. The options are endless.
