Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear this. I hope your crumble was delicious though! This has never happened for me. I just made my first batch of the season the other day, and they turned out well, like they always do. Did you use fresh baking ingredients? Baking soda/baking powder, for example, can lose their leavening abilities over time.

Made this for the first time and it tastes great my only problem is my muffins caved in. I improvised and turned it into a crumble. I followed the recipe above so I’m not sure what exactly happened. Any ideas?

I would leave the topping off next time. Delicious without the extra sugar.

Very good and easy to make. I got 18 muffins out of the recipe. Definitely make the topping.

We have fresh rhubarb growing in our garden so after making several strawberry rhubarb pies I decided to find other rhubarb recipes. This one is fantastic!! Perfect with a cup of tea! My husband loves them, so do I. They are better than any muffin I could get in a bakery!! Will be making these again teal soon!
