Unfortunately, no, it really doesn’t keep for long. I tried patting ours into a ball, and keeping it for a later date, but it went fuzzy (moldy) after a couple of days.

So much fun!

Great way to stretch the activity, Nicole! Let us know how the volcano works!

We moulded ours into a volcano & are going to try the bicarbonate & vinegar trick to see it it works. Not sure how much it will dry out but figured it was worth a try. We also froze some to see if it changed it… Thanks for the awesome ideas!

So glad she had fun with it! I’ve kept mine overnight before, but any longer than that, and it started to grow fuzzy mold. Maybe in the fridge it would keep longer?

She enjoyed the making process and spent ages with the playing too. Its stored for now, but I have no idea how well it will last!

I made it for a frozen mad girl, and my 2 year old. The girl was a little reluctant to get her hands messy, but soon got stuck in and made some frozen chocolates for Anna! Thanks. Love all your ideas.

Yes, if you don’t want to use the Ivory soap to make the cloud dough, you can use it to make laundry detergent. Here’s my recipe: https://happyhooligans.ca/homemade-laundry-detergent-recipe/. However, if you’re using your soap to make the clean mud with, I can’t think of too much that you could do with that when you’re finished playing with it. You might be able to press the toilet paper/soap mixture through a screen and make homemade paper, but we haven’t tried that.
