My kids were finally able to sleep after my husband, and I tried the “anti-monster spray” idea! We are both so grateful to you since we are now sleeping through the night. My children feel a lot safer having the special spray by their side, so they have no nightmares! Thank you!

Bedtime fears can be very difficult for parents and children alike. “Taming Mr. Shaky” was written to help families experiencing this issue. It is an illustrated book that provides a “road map” to overcome these fears. In it, children meet Mr. Shaky (“fear”) and understand how he works. As they read, they learn tools to make Mr. Shaky “behave better”. It is short and to the point and it gives parents and children the opportunity to discuss and acknowledge fears (and make a plan to overcome them together). Children find it very entertaining to read. Hope it helps!

Has always worked for me.

I gave the monsters a warning that Drevyn had his “keep me safe” blanket on so they could not bother him or I would get THEM. He no longer comes to get in my bed because he is afraid.

You’re suggesting to watch Monsters Inc. I’ve been avoiding it because of my daughter’s fear of monsters, even though, from being a baby, we’ve been told she looks just like Boo.

I said the monsters stay away when there’s lots of love in a house. 😉
