In reply to Glenda Bohnet. Whoops! I didn't realize I had "paint" in the supply list! So sorry, ladies! I was wondering where you got the idea that you needed paint. Smacking forehead! I've edited the post now. Yes. All you need is chalk, water and a paintbrush. The "painting" is done with water. Again, so sorry!

I’m following up on Priscilla’s comment. In the “things you’ll need” you listed paint, but I didn’t see you use actual paint. So that’s more of just the motion or activity part, right? You really just need chalk, water and a paintbrush? Am I interpreting it correctly? I want to do this tomorrow! 🙂

Where does the paint come into use? It is one of the materials listed but I don’t see where you use it.

I saw some kids doing this while waiting for the 4th of July fireworks. It was really cute. My son can’t do this right now, though because he still wants to chew on everything 🙂
