Sure, assuming you have some on hand. I’m sure you wouldn’t go out and buy that though, as it’s probably less “kind” to the planet than paper towels are. We don’t often use paper towels, but I do like to keep them on hand for this kind of thing. And of course, they can be composted when you’re ready to dispose of them.
