In reply to happyhooligans. Yes I am from NB, Canada and I pin because I'm bored, at the moment. Trying to get some good ideas for diy/crafts to make for our new home we're moving into next month. 1967 seemed to be a good year, my momma added twins to an already busy household! Good woman she was, I don't know how she did it and kept it together! LOL Times were different in the good ole 60s! Love you blog, have one too but have no idea what to put on it, so it's just there, hanging in cyberspace til I learn how-to. Until then, I have Pinterest. ;-) Keep up the great work, love your posts!

Take the use of this color pallet a step further. When the children are finished painting take them on a nature walk to find something in nature that is the same color or shade as the “paint” on the pallet.
